Ocean City Magical Holiday Memories

Delight in the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas

Day 1:

Arrive in Ocean City, check in to your hotel and enjoy that crisp Atlantic Ocean air.   Depart for Northside Park to board the Winterfest Express for a tram tour through Wiinterfest of Lights, a magical storybook land brought to life by more than a million twinkling Christmas Lights.  Enjoy a fabulous, hearty, sit-down Eastern Shore-style holiday dinner at one of Ocean City’s festively decorated restaurants.  Then it’s off to the Dickens Parlour Theater for an entertaining magical show.

Day 2:

Wake-up to sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean and enjoy a tasty breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Take a guided tour of Assateague Island National Seashore.  Enjoy the winter beachscape and the wild ponies that inhabit this island.  Be on the lookout for a very special visitor – Santa Claus. You’ll get in the spirit by roasting chestnuts and warming up with hot cider.  Then it’s off to Main Street Berlin, for all of its Victorian splendor.  The Taylor House will take you back in time with stories and exhibits of Christmas Past.  Stroll along the sidewalks of this charming community with the sounds of the season playing in the streets as you browse the unique old-time stores, some with moving window displays. The highlight of the afternoon is the Enchanted Christmas Tea featuring hearty soup, fancy three-tier Victorian foods display and sugar plum treats while sipping teas to warm the heart.

Day 3:

After breakfast, bags are transferred and you board the bus for Salisbury.  Make a stop at The Country House, known as the “Largest Country Store in the East.”  You will delight in the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas and see gift ideas galore.  Visit The Centre at Salisbury for lunch and more last-minute Christmas shopping before heading home.
