bulletEnvironmental Team: Our team is comprised of our Facility Manager, lead Engineer, Guest Services Manager, Sales Manager, a representative from the Front Office and Managing Partner. We meet once a month to discuss any opportunities that may be available on how we can better conserve energy, as well as help our environment and our community.
bulletSet Annual Goals: Our property gets feed back from Montgomery County Government on the opportunities that are available. We have also participated in the Adopt-A-Road program for the past 18 years.
bulletWe have a purchasing policy to encourage the purchase of environmentally-friendly products and services
bulletList of our environmentally friendly products and services: We have asked our vendors to make sure they make us aware of all environmentally friendly products that are available to us, when we place our orders. At our property we recycle throughout the hotel, including the sleeping rooms, we have Energy efficient boilers, heat pumps, A/C units; as well as all new energy saving light fixtures throughout the hotel. We try to purchase organic products with at least 50% recycled packaging and green seal Environmental Choice EcoLogo.
bulletEnvironmental Restoration or Community Environmental Projects: WE have been involved with the Adopt-A-Road program for the past 18 years. We also educate our guests on the local turtle conservatory close to our hotel.
