The Railway Museum at the former Chesapeake Beach rail station offers a glimpse of another time, when the town was a popular resort with beachfront hotels, a race track, casino, bathhouse and boardwalk. The Great Depression and the closing of the railway ended that era.

Today, you can find quiet beaches, waterfront restaurants, a water park and low-key charm at this delightful beach town, less than 30 miles from Washington, D.C.
