This place has ambiance and really great food. However, it is a bit pricey compared to some other restaurants we tried. If you don't mind the prices it is an excellent place to have a delicious dinner. Our's was great !!
BEST Crab Cakes!

One of the main reasons I love having family in town is they ALWAYS demand we go to CGll for their superb crab cake sandwiches. Never a disappointment in the upstairs bar dining area.
Our Ocean City Favorite

We visit Ocean City several times a year and the one place we always stop is The Captains Galley . My favorite is the soft crab ( in season ) or the blackened salmon . My wife is convinced that the crab cake is the best around and orders it each time . The dinning room faces the water and you can watch through the large windows that edge the room , the boats coming and going into and out of the docks . Pleasant area , friendly folks , good food .
Still serving fine and affordable seafood

With the coming of winter, all Ocean City and Delmarva resort restaurants offer food specials to keep business coming in. My wife and I never fail to take advantage of the Sunday Senior special at Captains Galley. Where else can you get a 4.12lb and 3.87lb fresh steamed lobster at 14.95 per pound and on top of the already reasonable price Sunday PM gives an additional 20% of the total bill off for seniors over age 55. The service is right on, Oysters and clams on the half shell large and delicious and wines are priced right. Fine dining at a fine price. Their prices for other days are also quite reasonable considering the fish is right off the boat and the flounder, rockfish, and mahi mahi portions are both large and well prepared. Self parking at the front and large adjacent lot is another plus.

Visiting Ocean City, MD during the off season can be challenging when you are longing for seafood preferably "Baked Crab Imperial". Thanks to "Google" we were able to find "Captains Galley II". It has been so hard to find a restaurant that makes this recipe. It was absolutely amazing. They also have all lump CrabCakes as well as all u can eat crabs. This seafood restaurant is definitely a must visit. They are open all year; except they close for six weeks mid January through end of February.
