I recently ate here and if you like rubber bands I strongly recommend the calamari, if you like eating butter order the shrimp scampi. When our bread arrived it tasted like it was a few days old and we ate it off napkins due to the fact that they didnt bring plates. I was expecting more from a place that is expensive as this and for a much better meal at a much more affordable cost I would go to harborside next door
Terrible service, ridiculous policy's, and average food

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. When I ordered my soup and decided to share a meal ($33.00 for 2 crab cakes, coleslaw, and onion rings) with my friend the waitress informed me that there was a charge to share a meal ($ 4.00). Which I thought was kind of rude, then I ordered an additional crab cake as an addition to my meal, I was told that I could not do that and that I had to order another meal. Our food was at best average. I would have thought that a restaurant would want to make customers happy during the very quiet offseason, but it appears that this restaurant is not concerned about business during the offseason. I would have left the restaurant with out eating had I not been out on a very important meeting. I will never eat here again.

This place has ambiance and really great food. However, it is a bit pricey compared to some other restaurants we tried. If you don't mind the prices it is an excellent place to have a delicious dinner. Our's was great !!

One of the main reasons I love having family in town is they ALWAYS demand we go to CGll for their superb crab cake sandwiches. Never a disappointment in the upstairs bar dining area.
Our Ocean City Favorite

We visit Ocean City several times a year and the one place we always stop is The Captains Galley . My favorite is the soft crab ( in season ) or the blackened salmon . My wife is convinced that the crab cake is the best around and orders it each time . The dinning room faces the water and you can watch through the large windows that edge the room , the boats coming and going into and out of the docks . Pleasant area , friendly folks , good food .
