Happy hour and lunch
Nov 30, 2013 by: Lisa L from Smithsburg, Maryland
Aqua 103 has made some big changes. Lunch for $7.00- all you can eat soup and salad. Other items at affordable prices. Happy hour is amazing. 1/2 price drinks and appetizers. There is a nice lounge menu as well. Best crab cakes ever!
Nice Place to Eat and Chat

I met a friend for dinner a week ago and she suggested this restaurant. It has a very inviting atmosphere and, despite what I had expected, it was not pretentious or over the top. I got the special (fliet minon, salad, and side) for $20 which was very reasonable. The steak was one of the best steaks I've ever had at a restaurant before. My husband and I will be visiting again soon.
Great place to unwind

Just return from a cruise and wanted one more relaxing evening with friends. Auqa 103 has the best happy hour. Martinis are made exactly as requested which can be a challenge in many restaurants. Spinich salad is wonderful baby spinich with sauteed onions & strawberries and wonderful dressing on the side to add as you choose. The Salmon BLT is presented very nicely. On a toasted bun, large piece of grilled salmon presented on top of lettuce, tomatoe and bacon with a light sauce and salad on the side. Jess is a wonderful bartender/waitress, always has a smile.
Hidden Gem in Hagerstown

We went to dinner to celebrate my birthday on September 21st. We had been to Aqua 103 a couple years ago but had forgotten how good this restaurant is. For an appetizer, we ordered the baked brie in a lavender honey sauce with fresh fruit and candied walnuts. This was to die for! My husband ordered the salmon special with dill cream sauce and I had the blackened catfish with mango salsa, Both dishes were perfectly prepared. Julie, our waitress, was attentive and kept us informed on the status of our dishes. She explained that the dishes are made to order so they take a little time. When she told us the evening's specials, she advised that the catfish was the last one. When I said that's what I wanted, she went back to the kitchen to reserve it, then returned to the table to get my husband's order. The lemoncello cake and chocolate bombe were good. The wine list is limited but there are a few wines in each varietal in a reasonable range of prices. There are also an assortment of wines by the glass.
A great find

We did not expect to find such a really good restaurant in Hagerstown. This one is very impressive. The ambiance, the layout and the food are all excellent. We had the crab cake lunch with mixed vegetables; whatever they did to the crab meat was amazing because the full flavor of the crab came through. We also had the pork chop with sesame seeds and honey---very flavorful. They also have a wide range of bottled beers in addition to a reasonable wine list. They also have about 15 different takes on a martini. Because we were there at 4 pm on a weekday we got our wine at half price. Every town should have a place as good as this one. That morning I went to a restaurant that serves breakfast at any time. So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance.
