Trip Advisor Business Stay

This is a pretty typical business-type hotel. The desk staff was very helpful. Their breakfast is way better than Hampton type hotels. They have a free local shuttle. There's not a lot nearby, so I would suggest having a car.

We chose this Hotel for its location half way between Myrtle Beach and Uxbridge,it was easy to find and good access from 270.Room was clean and comfortable like most Hotels lousy pillows.Breakfast not till 7am on weekend which was annoying ,plates at breakfast ice cold so food was all cold and as a result a good selection of hot food spoilt

The hotel provides good value with helpful, friendly service. Hotel is comfortable, especially the junior suite which has a large bathroom and plenty of floor space for in room exercise. I repeatedly come here because it is in a great location to get on freeway and go into DC or away from DC. Breakfast provided is reasonable array of yogurts, eggs, cereals, waffles, fruit, juices, and other breakfast meat and breads. Hotel has a bar and a small casual restaurant.

We checked in on a cold Sunday night after a ten-hour drive through snowstorms with our dog. Front desk staff were friendly. Room on third floor was serviceable, though view was depressing as we looked out on a roof with ventilation stacks etc. Heating system was loud. The biggest issue was that the restaurant was closed, and the hotel is not situated near any restaurants or food stores. We had to get back in our car and drive several miles to find a place to eat. Breakfast the next morning was fine, and hotel staff ensured that there was enough of everything. In all, it was an OK experience but not great. Discovering upon check-in that restaurant was closed put a real damper on the evening.

This hotel handles adversity well. They had a sprinkler system accidentally activated a few days before we got there. Didn't affect our block of rooms. As we are pulling into the driveway with the tour bus the hotel called me to inform me the elevators had gone out and it would be a couple of hours before being operational again. They offered to hand carry our bags and got us into the rooms. The rooms were very good. The breakfast was great and all in all even with the glitches it is a place I would not hesitate to return to with a group. Only one thing.... The manager still owes me a beer. :)
