not what she used to be

This once amazing building is still a terrific place to see a show just went to see Hannibal Buress and it is so nice not to be stuck in a concrete wall cold building with no style. With a little work and a lot of cash it could be back to it's original glory until then I will still go see shows here as opposes to other venues.
Jay Leno at the Lyric Opera House

Saw Jay Leno at the Lyric. Jay was awesome - I laughed from the time he started talking until the end of his show. The Lyric was sold out, it was an older crowd. It was a great show. The Lyric itself isn't as pretty as other theaters I've been to, but it was nice and well staffed. Parking was very easy - there is a garage across the street from the Lyric. The garage was well staffed and worked hard to keep the lines moving into and out of the garage. The whole evening was a very pleasant experience.
Great place to See A Show

The Lyric is a great place to see a show or concert. I've see a few shows there, the acoustics are good, but it is a little dated. The seating bowl is very cramped and the bathroom facilities are old and in need of repair. There is a parking garage across the street and it is easy to find. The staff are nice and very helpful. I would go back.
Cirque Dreams Holidaze

I went to the first show of the Cirque Dreams Holidaze last night and it was amazing! We had box seats and the view was great! The acrobatics, sets, costumes and music were all brilliant and the performers were all stunning. The cake pops that they had at the snack bar were delicious and I enjoyed seeing and taking pictures of some of the War of 1812 photos that they had upstairs while waiting for the show as I am obsessed with the Battle of Baltimore! It was a great night and I loved the show!
Disney jr live-Sofia the first and jake and the neverlanding pirates.

Ok since I had discounted tickets of $15 each, nothing to complain about. The theater staff were helpful and professional. But you might not get a smile. I was confused on the seating arrangement. I was told to sit anywhere I wanted in "this" area. Huh? Ok. It wasn't packed out so that didn't bother me. Sofia the first was sooo boring. And only having a few speakers on the stage didn't help the sound quality. Not much action. Not much special effects. HOWEVER, jake and the neverlanding pirates was excellent. High energy, action packed, got the audience involved, and great flying special effects! Worth it.
