This was very nice little trip with very helpful staff.Museum free with ticket from steam train.Lot's of old horse drawn vehicles. You can take pictures if you like. If you are taking the steam train & getting off to visit Frostburg. This is a better option than the hike up the steps to see Frostburg.

Various carriages, sleighs, etc. Ignore the signs that say no photographs. The staff welcomed photos. The ladies were well informed and engaging. Donations sure to help if you can.

Trip Advisor Frostburg visit

The little carriage museum at the train station has an interesting selection of old horse-drawn vehicles. Assorted period amenities displayed with and on the carriages brings them alive in the imagination. This is a good 30 minutes visit and worth the time.

Trip Advisor Awesome display - free

This museum is free with your Western Maryland Scenic Train ride. Don't miss this place when you are in Frostburg. Restrooms are available. It's two floors of antique carriages - some from the Roosevelts. Would visit it longer and read more about each carriage in depth if there was enough time between when we had to board the train back to Cumberland.
