The Shamrock 5K race begins at 1:15 p.m. at Charles and Franklin Streets. The Parade starts off at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Monument, and continues to Pratt Street and Market Place.

Annual St. Paddy's 5k Walk & Run 
March 15, 2012

This is the 13th Annual St. Paddy's 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk. The event is held at Elks Lodge #817 on Churchill Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland. The run/walk is held in the Salisbury Park and goes throught the zoo. A St.Paddy's party celebration is held after the run/walk with plenty of food and drink for all participants.

With driving rythyms, fresh melodies and literate lyrics Celtic Thunder was the soundtrack of Baltimore`s Irish gatherings starting in 1977. They went on to tour Ireland, play the Clinton White House (twice!), and be named "one of the best Irish folk acts in America" by The Washington Post. Tonite original members Jesse Winch (bodhran, bouzouki), Terry Winch (button accordion), and Linda Hickman (flute) are joined by singer Dominick Murray and fiddle great Tony DeMarco, reconstituting the group’s line-up ca. 1982.
