Preakness Celebration is a series of events leading up to the 137th running of the Preakness, the second jewel of horse racing’s Triple Crown, at Pimlico Race Course on May 19, 2012 (always the third Saturday of May.)
The region's biggest party Preakness InfieldFest 2012, led by Kegasus, Lord of the Infieldfest, returns as a legendary multi-entertainment festival that will include performances by Grammy Award winners Maroon 5 and multi-platinum rapper Wiz Khalifa! The Beer Garden Jägermeister Stage welcomes regional favorites, Mr. Greengenes, Nashville-based country band, Little Big Town, and British rockers, The Darkness.
This hugely popular, multi-entertainment festival features live music on two stages, the bottomless MUG Club and a line-up of activities capped off by the thrilling 137th Running of the Preakness Stakes. See you at the Preakness May 19th - it's sure to be the best one yet!

The 2011 Preakness 5K benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure® will start and finish at historic Pimlico Race Course. Walk or run the course which takes you around the same dirt track the horses use on Preakness Day and venture around the grounds at the Pimlico Race Track including past the thoroughbred horse stables.
