It's that time of year again! Come out as St. mary's County fairgrounds transforms into nirvana at the 43rd annual Maryland Oyster Festival. Enjoy oysters served up raw, scalded, grilled on the barbie, on breat, on the half shell, stewed, nude, cooked in savory sauces, in salads, even in desserts, just about every way imaginable and then some...all here for eating and enjoying.

With lots of contests and fun for everyone, this is one even you won't want to miss!

This year's festival will be held October 17-18 at the Farigrounds on Route 5 just south of Leonardtown. Fairground gates open at 10am. General admission (12 and up) is $5. Parking is Free!
