Join us at the Leonardtown Wharf as we celebrate the Waterfront Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 12, from Noon to 5 p.m. One of the many highlights of the event will be the Challenge Cup between St. Mary's Ryken and Leonardtown High School. Keelboat and dinghy races will also take place and will be open to all participants.
Many activities and events are planned including musical performances by local school groups, a one act performance by Newtown Players depicting the founding of Maryland, strolling minstrel David Norris, and much more. Enjoy a guided kayak and/or canoe excursion on beautiful Breton Bay, participate in the many craft workshops and crab races, and visit Tudor Hall for an Artist’s Gathering of beautiful artwork! Take a round trip boat tour from Leonardtown Wharf to St. Clements Island – tickets are available at the Leonardtown Library.
