The Blessing of the Fleet is a religious celebration of Maryland's birthplace, the landmark of St.Clement's Island, and a blessing of the boats, or fleet, as October 1 genearlly begins the oyster harvesting season in Maryland. Catholic Mass will be held on Sunday.

The 42nd Annuel event will take place at the St. Clement's Island Museum Grounds featuring continuous music, games, crafts, livestock display and petting zoo, classic car show, free boat rides,  cash giveaways and much more!

Bring the kids along! With plenty of activities for children of all ages, you'll be glad you did. Youth activites include kids tractor pull, boxing robots, Maryland Dove tour, magic shows, reptile show, pony rides and more!

Plus, there will be a huge fireworks display Saturday night and a fun parade on Sunday. Don't miss it!

The event kicks off at noon on October 3rd. Parking is free! Admission is $7.00 and children 23 and under are FREE!
