The 14th annual Baltimore Book Festival  takes place September 25-27, 2009.  This year's authors include Buzz Aldrin, Gwen Ifill, Ralph Nader, Chris Gardner, Amiri Baraka, KRS-One, Ingrid Hoffman, Farai Chideya, Maureen McCormick, Dale DeGroff, Lourdes Castro and Adam Ried.

Dynamic, personal interaction between readers and authors is the hallmark of our festival. Activities include the literary salon, children's bookstore stage, food for thought stage, citylit stage, creative cafe, literary walking tours, music stage, radical bookfair pavilion, storybook parade and more with lost of other fun events in the neighborhood.

New in 2009 is the first ever Baltimore Book Festival's official after-party in the Literary Salon Sent!

The festival is Free and open to the public. If you  purchase a ticket to show your support for the festival, your purchase includes beer, wine, appetizers and live entertainment.
