The whole family will enjoy this spectacular musical celebration during the CIVIL WAR 150 national commemoration as we salute this great land and the common bond that we, the people, share. Hear your favorite American songs and patriotic anthems including the Armed Forces Salute, 1812 Overture, and Stars and Stripes performed by the Maryland Symphony Orchestra under the leadership of Music Director Elizabeth Schulze. The evening will be capped off with the dazzling PNC Bank’s Fireworks Display!.

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Fire on the Mountain Fireworks Display, sponsored by Hugh Umbel Companies. Fireworks launched from the top of Bear Claw Tubing Park at Wisp Resort out toward the waters of Deep Creek Lake. Viewing spots include the scenic overlook on Rt. 219, McHenry Cove on Deep Creek Lake and businesses in McHenry. Rain date: July 5th.

Visit Baltimore’s Inner Harbor on Independence Day for live music and a spectacular fireworks show! Visitors can listen to live entertainment at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, located at Pratt and Light streets. Starting at 4pm, Maryland-based band Mason Vixon performs original music and country songs with “rock rebellion.” Next to the stage is the U.S. Naval Academy Band Electric Brigade playing an entertaining arrangement of patriotic and pop music at 7pm. Preceding the fireworks, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake welcomes guests and officially kicks off Baltimore City’s Independence Day celebration. At 9:30pm, colorful fireworks ignite the sky above downtown Baltimore during an approximately 18-minute show. The fireworks show is choreographed to Top 40, classic and patriotic music that can be heard at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, West Shore Park and the surrounding promenade. Prime locations for spectators to view the fireworks, in addition to the Inner Harbor, include Federal Hill, Fell’s Point and Harbor East.
