A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns and involves Celtic music, haggis, Scotch whiskey and many a toast to lads and lassies.

Charter Day Celebrates Our Royal Charter

The final event of the 2008 celebration year is the commemoration of the granting of the Annapolis Charter on its actual 300th anniversary, December 3.

Colonial Dog Show

See the hounds upclose and personal at the Colonial Dog Show in Annapolis’ Hammond Harwood House – built in 1774. A costumed interpreter will offer the “Animal House Tour” of this historic home and discuss colonial breeds of dogs.
